It is at the intersection of technology and business that Beatrice Råvik Janzon thrives most. Having recently taken on the role of CEO of Rescue Intellitech, she does so with a clear conviction: technology should create real value, and the best results are achieved together.

Beatrice holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and brings a broad technical background from companies including Volvo Trucks, Sony Ericsson, and most recently Thule Group, where she served as Business Area Director for Active With Kids. She now steps into her new role as CEO of Rescue Intellitech, a subsidiary of Sandberg Development that develops decontamination systems for professional protective equipment used by fire and rescue services around the world.

- My strength lies in combining deep customer insights with a broad understanding of technology and products. When you truly understand the customer’s needs, it becomes much easier to translate technical innovation into tangible value and strong business opportunities, says Beatrice.

Drawn to the Technology and the Social Impact

What attracted Beatrice to Rescue Intellitech was the combination of technological complexity, business development, and a clear societal mission.

- The company develops solutions that help firefighters create safer working environments, which feels both meaningful and inspiring. At the same time, Rescue Intellitech is in an exciting phase with significant growth potential. I see many opportunities ahead to drive smart and sustainable growth over the coming years, says Beatrice.

As a new CEO, Beatrice’s initial focus will be to gain a deep understanding of the team, customers, and market. From there, she will work on shaping a long-term growth strategy for the company’s continued development. She describes her leadership style as being built on engagement, transparency, and trust.

- To me, leadership is about being transparent, creating engagement, and giving people the right conditions to succeed. I believe we achieve the best results when we challenge one another, share a clear direction, and enjoy the journey along the way, says Beatrice.

Favourite Element: Water

Beatrice lives in Bjärred with her husband, their three children, and the family’s brown Labrador, Stina. She prefers spending her free time outdoors with her family, enjoying water sports in the summer and skiing in the winter. Just as in her professional life, Beatrice seems to thrive when there are forward momentum, exciting challenges, and people to share the journey with.
