In the fall of 2026, Sandberg Development will launch the third edition of its Graduate Program – a 12-month trainee program offering newly graduated engineers and economists a unique opportunity to kickstart their careers in an innovation-driven, family-owned industrial group.

Participants take on a project-based role in one of Sandberg Developments companies and will have the opportunity to run real projects linked to some of society’s most critical sectors – water, safety, and quality of life. In parallel, they will take part in an innovation and leadership program in collaboration with EFL Executive Education.

As a participant in the Graduate Program, you become part of the Sandberg Development Group and will:

  • Complete a 12‑month trainee program with permanent employment and a competitive salary. After completing the program, you continue your employment within the Group.
  • Work in one of our portfolio companies such as Aimpoint, DTS, Watersprint, Nordisk Clean Solutions, or within the Group organization.
  • Lead a concrete project where you influence the direction.
  • Gain broad insight into the company’s operations.
  • Development of your skills within innovation, problem-solving, and leadership.
  • Be coached by experienced mentors and experts from both the Group and EFL.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Are newly graduated engineers or economists.
  • Have a strong interest in innovation, technology, and sustainable solutions.
  • Enjoy solving complex problems and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Are motivated to create real societal value and bring a strong sense of purpose.
  • Wants to contribute to creating real societal impact and has their heart in the right place.

Application and timeline

We welcome your application no later than May 31, 2026.

The selection process is conducted on a rolling basis, and as we place strong emphasis on matching candidates with the right projects, the process may take some time.
