Sandberg Development forms Aqvancia Group to accelerate growth in professional warewashing
Sandberg Development is taking the next step in its investment in professional warewashing through the formation of Aqvancia Group. The new group platform brings together Nordisk Clean Solutions, Silanos and Rekal, with combined revenue of nearly SEK 1 billion. The initiative establishes a dedicated organisation, a clear mandate and increased resources to develop new solutions, accelerate international growth and strengthen the group’s position in professional warewashing.
Aqvancia is the next step in an initiative that Sandberg Development has gradually built up over several years. With its subsidiary Nordisk Clean Solutions as a base, Sandberg Development became an owner of Italian company Silanos in 2023 and has since continued to develop its offering in professional warewashing. The acquisition of Rekal in May 2026 added hygiene and cleaning chemicals as well as further service expertise. Together, the companies represent different and essential parts of the professional warewashing space.

Nordisk Clean Solutions, Silanos and Rekal will continue as independent companies with their own brands. Aqvancia adds a shared platform with a mandate to develop and scale integrated solutions for the professional warewashing and create conditions for continued international growth. The ambition is to grow both organically and through complementary acquisitions.
Mikael Samuelsson, currently CEO of Nordisk Clean Solutions, will assume the role of CEO of Aqvancia, with responsibility for leading the group’s continued development and expansion.

Pontus Nordfeldt will take over as CEO of Nordisk Clean Solutions. The new group structure will take effect on 1 October 2026.
