SWATAB becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Sandberg Development

Swatab 960

In 2018 Sandberg Development invested in the water technology company SWATAB. Sandberg Development now acquires the remaining shares in SWATAB, which thus becomes a wholly owned subsidiary in the Group.

SWATAB was founded in 2013 by the Klöfverskjöld family outside Kristianstad. SWATAB has developed and patented an innovative system for sustainable cleaning and washing. Connecting the DIRO fliter system to normal washing machines/taps makes incoming water ultra-pure and deionised, enabling both cleaning and washing without any agents and detergents.

The purchase of SWATAB is Sandberg Development's second investment withing water technology in autumn 2022. In October, Sandberg Development invested in Drupps AB (publ) , a water innovation company specialized in recovery of evaporative water and its energy.
